            It is a very simple arithmetic: With existing technology and appropriate activities and investment (creating opportunities for many to work on national priorities) we can reduce energy consumption in HALF, which translates in proportional reduction of energy used and CO₂ environmental emission, thus substantially reducing energy imports and improving environment, national security and our economy.            

                President Obama recently referred to "superior insulated windows" in Pittsburgh. We have even much more superior wall and roof panels made in Illinois. A small business, ThermalShell Technologies <www.ThermalShell.com> has a potential to contribute to substantial energy conservation by retrofitting existing buildings and in new constructions. They use advanced engineering and materials for "Green Energy Efficient Buildings"  with new generation 8‑in precast  wall panels which are up to 4 times lighter and over 4 times higher thermal insulation R-value than used in classical construction.

                Reducing energy loss through buildings’ envelopes (windows, walls & roofs) by half will reduce energy consumption and cost, and CO₂ emissions by half, and will require half-capacity of heating and air-conditioning equipment, resulting in additional savings. Reduced energy requirements will open-up additional opportunities to use renewable energy sources and innovative energy technologies to save energy in buildings and industry.            

                I plead and challenge all concerned  to promote and support Illinois’ businesses in contributing to the National and State’s Stimulus projects. It is our public and professional duty and our responsibility.
