Approved Handouts - Chapter Summaries and Property Tables and Charts (May be copied from your Textbook):
Please PRINT Appendix 1 (or you may copy SI Appendix and Charts from the Textbook) and Unit Conversions and Constants (or Text Conversion Factors) and bring it as a Handout if we need it for our Quizzes, Midterm and Final Exams (you also could copy Approved Handouts from your Textbook, etc). NOTE: If any font in a PDF file does not print properly, choose “Print as Image” option in the File>Print menu (also see open different file formats ). If the font prints properly it is better to print without this option. You may want to choose other options suitable for your printer. Check the printing and add/correct any misprint if needed (Check Textbook Web if Errata List is available) * Approved handouts are also posted Summaries for every chapter (or you may copy the Textbook chapters' summaries), also Main Thermo-Natural Laws and/or TA summaries if available, as explained in class. ALL Approved Handouts must be bound together (stapled, 3-ring folder or similar, NOT loose sheets in a folder). One page of your "free notes" but excluding any solved problem/example is allowed if bounded with other handouts*

Homework No. 15: Assigned in week of Tu, 12/04/07 (Due as per rules if not specified otherwise):
This is a review week before our final exam. Mandatory and comprehensive final exam, as per our Syllabus and per official NIU schedule is on Thurs. December 13, 10:00-11:50 a.m. (check Official NIU Exam Schedule and report any discrepancy personally to me).
Review Midterm/Exam Policies (Show all your work for full credit). Staple together in this order from top to bottom: Quiz/Midterm/Final Exam answer form, 8-sheet-blank-paper-set (exactly and must be submitted even if blank) and Multiple Choice answer form, and bring it with your personal Textbook, printed/copied Approved Handouts (bounded with your name: stapled or in a single 3-ring folder), pen, pencil and a calculator, etc. Write on the front face of the Worksheets only and end each page to be graded with "See Next" and "The End" for last page used.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have more than two Final Exams on the same date you have a right to reschedule an exam. Please email to me the exact schedule of your exams (courses and dates/times) and then come in person to my Office to reschedule an Exam before our last class meeting.
As I advised all of you verbally before, you may check your grading record with TA and any concern has to be resolved before the classes are completed. All students and TA should check that all relevant links needed for Final exam are working before our last class/lecture. Check if your name is properly spelled or missing in our Class Photo and email to me if any correction is to be done. Last lectures are reserved for review of all course materials and answering your questions related to our Final exam.
NOTE: You will have to participate in ABET Course Assessment Surveys and TA Evaluation. Please review the course Syllabus where Objectives with relationship to ABET Outcomes are listed and assessed by your instructor as (strong, average, and minimal). Some of those objectives (strong) are obvious, while others may be less obvious or implicit (average or minimal) as we discussed it in class. I’ll be glad to provide additional explanation if needed. Please review The instruction Letter and the forms before the class, so that we could do it more effectively and have more time to review and prepare for the upcoming final exam. Thank you for participation in this important activity.
